Join this Sunday ride option from Desert Breeze Park located between McClintock and Rural, Chandler Blvd. and Ray along Desert Breeze Parkway (north parking lot). Ride options of 30+ or 40+ miles and pace options from intermediate to advanced. Breakfast near the end of the ride. We spin out at 7:00 AM in May, 6:30 AM in June, July and August. Come join us! May 17 (Sat) Saturday Cycling: St. Francis Loop
Start at 7:00 AM from Kiwanis Park. Don your red, white and blue and join us for our Armed Forces Day romp on the St. Francis Loop. The St. Francis Loop follows a figure 8 up thru town, with route options of 26 miles or 36 miles, moderate climbing on both. Breakfast at IHOP, southwest corner of Apache and College. May 18 (Sun) Spin Cycle: Ohcotukee Loop
Meet at 7:00 AM at Desert Breeze Park in Chandler (located on Desert Breeze Blvd. southeast of Ray & Rural Rds). Ohcotukee Loop - Head down to Ocotillo and then to Ahwatukee for some hills. Mileage options of 25, 35, or 55 with a lot of hills. Breakfast at Wanda's - Beck & Chandler Blvd. Pace options from intermediate to advanced. Contact: Glen Fletcher.

May 24 (Sat) Saturday Cycling: Tour de Sue
Start at 7:00 AM from Kiwanis Park. We'll try the Tour de Sue, currently known as the Tour de Construction On Queen Creek Road, with route options of 25 miles or 35 miles, no climbing. Breakfast at AZ Bread Co, southeast corner Kyrene and Elliot. Contact: Sue Fassett.

May 24-26 (Sat-Mon) Luna Lake Tour
The Luna Lake Tour is a 3-day loop ride over the Memorial Day weekend. The tour is a moderately difficult ride in the scenic pine forests and mountains in eastern Arizona and western New Mexico averaging about 65 miles a day on lightly traveled roads. On Saturday you'll ride from Springerville, AZ to Quemado, NM. On Sunday the tour will take you from Quemado to Reserve, NM. And then on Monday you'll ride from Reserve back to Springerville. Meet at 7:00 AM at Desert Breeze Park in Chandler (located on Desert Breeze Blvd. southeast of Ray & Rural Rds). A new route from Ken St. John - Olive Mill Run - Out to Schempf Farms & the Olive Mill Bistro and back. Mileage options of 37 or 54 miles - All flat. Breakfast at Wildflower at the Chandler Mall. New to cycling? Out of shape and looking for a ride to start back? Start at 9:00 AM at Gene Autrey Park in Mesa (on McKellips Road between Val Vista and Greenfield on the south side of the road. May 26 (Sat) Saturday Cycling: Memorial Day Ride - Buddy's Route
Start at 7:00 AM from Kiwanis Park. Your last ride morning to sleep in a bit before our summer hours! Come join us on a holiday romp in memory of those who are no longer in the line with us (would they want us doing anything else on this date??). Buddy's Route takes us wandering thru the Ahwatukee area, the old route, one size fits all (about 30 miles), with whatever climbs you want to conquer or skip. Breakfast, with lots of loud talking encouraged, at Paradise Bakery, southwest corner Ray & 54th St. Contact: Sue Fassett.

Start at 7:00 AM from Kiwanis Park. OK, so there are 31 days in May... which means we do have one last Saturday in the month to snooze in. We'll celebrate the end of our spring season with the Mummy Mountain route, options of 27 miles with moderate climbing or 20 miles with a couple of extra climbs. Join PMBC for theire June Quarterly Membership Meeting/Breakfast which will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2008 at the Home Town Buffet, northwest corner of Warner and Evergreen in Chandler, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Members have the option of riding to the breakfast with the Saturday Cycling group or meeting us at the restaurant for the meeting at 8:30 am. July 12-13 (Sat-Sun) 2008 White Mountain Tour
The White Mountain Tour is a two-day fully supported tour in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona. The ride begins on Saturday at the Hon Dah Resort and Casino and takes you through Pinetop/Lakeside to Show Low and then over Highway 60 to the Springerville/Eager area where you'll spend Saturday night. On Sunday the ride will take you from the Springerville/Eager area up into the cool pines along highway 260 to near the Sunrise Ski Resort turnoff. From there it's a fast and fun ride back to the Hon Dah. For more ride and registration information see Major Events.
