as reported by Pete Joyce

June Meeting News:

The subject of coalition memberships was the leading item of discussion following the reading of the minutes and the acceptance of the Treasurers report. The need for a membership committee chairman and members was highlighted. This committee would have the responsibility to develop an aggressive membership campaign. Initially Rich Rumer and John Burg have volunteered to be co-chairs of the committee to get it underway. Pete Joyce will also be a member. However coalition members should be reminded that they are also part of this committee in that they should be proactive in recruiting new members. Plans for events, membership drives and other member increasing ideas will be explored.

Prescott Meeting:

A follow-up of the April 24th meeting will be held in Prescott on Saturday the 26th of June. At this meeting/ride a new member for the coalition board will be appointed to represent the Prescott area.

ROAD I Course:

Plans are being made to conduct a Road I training course in the Prescott area in the August/September time frame. Riders from northern Arizona are especially invited to attend. More coming on this later.
